The Digital Villages Research Network

Enjoyed another get together at Destinations for more Hot chocolate!!!!.
I am finding it really useful to obtain ideas and its nice to meet the other reserchers from other areas (nothing against Roger or Amanda though!)

Six of the researchers gathered today for the interviewing and art of listening workshop which I found very interesting. We had many discussions about an excerpt from an interview we listened to.

i called at one ladys house to ask her to complete the survey and within ten minutes of my visit I helped her buy a new digital t.v and video, explained about compact discs, advised her where to go for computer courses and explain about the surveys. At the end she advised me to stand as council for the village Phew!

I sat with the oldest lady in the village to complete her survey who is one hundred it was really interesting and I cannot wait to interview her.
