John Sharpe (Saltburn)
Hi, my name is John Sharpe and I have lived in Skelton Green and now Brotton since 1971. My two daughters were born, educated and were married in the area. My wife, Liz has been the Clerk to Skelton & Brotton Parish Council since 1982 and I retired from Corus Teesside in 2007 where I was HR Manager Steelmaking although I still occasionally go back as a Works Guide showing Schools / Colleges / Graduates around the Site. I try attend the Corus Gym twice a week and also like cycling (on the flat bits!) and have just finished walking the Yorkshire Coast from the Tees to the Humber (not in one go!) I have four grandsons aged five to nine and one of my objectives as Researcher is to bring my IT skills up to their level!
