Here I am looking clever holding a pen, which I think had ink in it. Nice to know that that picnic table has already been smartened up since then: that’s what I like to see – this village moving forward. I hope this project can be just one more step in that process.
When I’m not assisting with this survey, I like to do things like help with CHANGE, our community forum, play drums with a local drum group and spend too long in the fascinating world on the internet.
I gave up my 20-year stint as a governor at Whitecliffe School over a year ago, but still go in to teach chess to kids on a regular basis. I also assist with invigilating exams at a secondary school not so far from here, when they come around.
